Maurice Dawson:

I wish to thank you for your participation in our Conferences. Your involvement is a critical ingredient for success and we thank you most sincerely.

I hope that everyone is settled back into their non-conference rountines. We thoroughly enjoyed visiting with everyone and as usual made some new friends and even learned a thing or two. We will put all of the excellent advice we received into our next Conference—which will be May 23^rd, 24^th, and 25^th, 2012 at the Holiday Inn Vanderbilt in Nashville, TN.

This was our biggest year yet with 171 papers being presented. Despite the rough spots (bad weather, people having travel problems, Internet issues, printer problems, no shows, and one projector breaking) we were able to carry on with little distraction. For the first time we had live and interactive remote presentations (Azerbaijan, Greece, Italy, Taiwan, Washington, and California). While we do not wish to encourage remote presentations they did enable us to overcome some emergency situations.

I heard several comments concerning the quality of many presentations. The winners of the Excellence in Presentation Awards are listed below. Each presenter will received a certificate via postal mail shortly.

I received 3 presentation awards during this conference.  This was unexpected news that brought a smile to my face and continues to reassure me that my research is of high interest to the rest of the academic community.
