Subject: 100 @ 100 - Thank You!
Dear Volunteer Professional,
Thank you so much for your interest and participation in our “A Legacy of Success: The 100 @ 100
Luncheon.” Many of our youth and adult chaperons have expressed their delight with the meaningful and
impactful conversations that took place at their tables. While I am expressing my own gratitude as well as that of the National Urban League for taking the time out of your busy schedules for a wonderful cause, I am also echoing a heartfelt, sincere, and passionate sentiment of appreciation on behalf of our participants; they truly felt touched that so many accomplished professionals wanted to meet them, speak to them, and listen to them.
I would like to remind you that your impact was far reaching in more ways than one. We had youth
representation from every corner of the country, including Florida, Texas, Minnesota, California and even Alaska at our conference. Wherever they were from, we expect that this event will stay with them and impact them well beyond their time in Washington, D.C. Based on the overall success of this event, it is likely we will plan a similar event for our 2011 conference in Boston, MA.
Again, I would like to thank each and every one of you who attended and acknowledge those who
expressed their interest in helping our youth. For anyone interested, we would like to send a small memento of
appreciation and acknowledgement to those who attended as well as to those who RSVP’d and could not make it due to outstanding circumstances. If you are interested, please provide me with your mailing address and I will put together a package for you. Also, feel free in your email to provide any comments about your experience or suggestions that might improve the event in the future.
On behalf of the National Urban League and our NULITES youth from around the country, we applaud
your achievements, thank you for your participation, and wish you the best in your personal and professional
endeavors.
Sincerely,
Jason T. Hendrickson
